Web analytics

We analyse the use of our website with the web analysis tool Plausible. This is used exclusively to optimise the website in terms of user-friendliness and to provide useful information about our services. This data is not merged with other personal data sources or passed on to third parties.

No personal analyses are carried out. The analyses are based on anonymised data records.

We do not require any personal information from you in order for you to download files from our website.

B. General data processing of the Open Impact Foundation PCC

The Open Impact Foundation collects the following data:

  • Compliance data (KYC and AML) such as, in particular, an official photo ID, declarations on source of funds and source of wealth, etc.

  • to be able to identify you as our donor;
  • to conclude a contract with which you donate to us;
  • for correspondence with you;
  • to issue a donation receipt.

Legal basis

Your data will be processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 let. a (data processing is based on your consent when using our online forms), b (data processing is based on a contract or the implementation of pre-contractual measures based on your enquiry for the purpose of a donation) and c (data processing is based on the fulfillment of a legal obligation with regard to the fulfillment of compliance requirements) GDPR.

Duration of storage of personal data

After collection, your data will be stored by the Open Impact Foundation PCC for as long as is necessary to fulfill your request.

  • is required in compliance with the statutory retention periods;
  • is necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes of the Open Impact Foundation PCC;
  • is necessary due to legitimate interests (i.e. donation documentation, etc.).

C. Data security

When you visit our website, we use the common https method in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser.   • to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law;
  • to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data;
  • under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw the consent previously given for the processing;
  • to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;
  • to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.

Right of cancellation for consent

If you have consented to the processing by the Open Impact Foundation PCC by means of a corresponding declaration, you can revoke your consent at any time for future use. This does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
